More than 16.2 million children struggle with hunger. They live in families that lack the means to regularly put enough nutritious food on the table for everyone to live healthy, active lives.
A great way to begin talking about childhood hunger in America with your children or students is to pick out a couple facts about hunger and talk about it with them. And be sure to join the Team No Kid Hungry supporters and pledge to end childhood hunger in America by 2015.
I believe that no child in America should go hungry. By pledging today, I add my voice to the national movement of people committed to ending childhood hunger in America by 2015.

There are many kinds of activities you and your children or students can hold to help support the No Kid Hungry campaign! Some require more advance planning than others but all will be fun, meaningful and can make a difference. You can team up with your child's school or teacher or develop activities at home or with friends and neighbors. When you do, if you connect via Facebook your family or students can earn reward points that can be traded in for cool NKH2 Gear. Encourage your kids to dedicate their Communion, Bar Mitzvah, Bat Mitzvah, or other special occasion to No Kid Hungry by asking for donations instead of gifts.
